This presentation will highlight examples of good practices in Project Management education at the graduate level. The presentation will be given by a current faculty member who did not originally come from an academic background but rather from a project management background, and now finds himself in a teaching position. This presentation will not focus on certification or training, but will focus on project management education for matriculating students in advanced degree programs.
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Identify the value of case-study methodology and partnering with PMI for teaching PM in graduate or undergraduate courses and apply it to the academic environment.
- Identify the challenges and rewards of transitioning from a practitioner to the academic environment.
