Whereas problem solving is a required skill for project managers, it should not be front and center all the time. In this session, attendees will learn four common traps that engulf their time and keep them in a reactive, fire-fighting cycle. We will discuss how to begin turning the tables by utilizing alternate actions toward a more proactive, preventative, approach.
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Identify unconventional traps that keep project managers in a reactive mode along with their counter-truths.
- Evaluate and prepare actions/goals to adjust behaviors contributing to one or more traps.
