#354 Design Thinking and Project Management
Design thinking has emerged as a major trend for how innovative organizations and teams are approaching problem solving. Is design thinking another business fad? Or is it a useful tool that project managers can employ in a more flexible, discovery-driven world? This session explores the intersection between design thinking and project management and identifies the pitfalls and benefits of incorporating design on projects.

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the benefits of incorporating design methodologies on projects for increased customer alignment and business impact.
  • Identify and apply design-thinking techniques for improving benefits realization and project success.
