#529 A Disaster of Titanic Proportion: How the Team Survived
The disaster recovery (DR) project was fast becoming a disaster itself and desperately needed to change course. The client was deeply dissatisfied and demanding high stakes. The presenters, the technical project manager—the second on the project, and the technical architect, will take participants through the hills and valleys of the project and share their methodologies for “righting the ship.” Ultimately, this project became synonymous with “Best DR Ever!” and was nominated for multiple awards.

At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Identify an array of techniques to employ in high-risk low-trust environments.
  • Assess risk factors before relationships deteriorate further and jeopardize the project.
